Next Stop Thassos

It´s nice to have something to look forward to, and holiday travels are something of the very best to look forward to. Hanne and me, we have been travelling to Greece for years now, and in 2008 we hope to repeat a succesful experience from 2005. Two holidays in Greece in one year. Luckily there are so many Greek islands, that we can still go to new places. The first trip in 2008 will go to Thassos for a one week stay in early June. The booking is already made last year, and we are almost ready to go ... but in the cold and grey January in Denmark it´s still too early to pack the suitcase.

We will be staying in the main town Limenas (or Thassos City), and during our stay we intend to sail to the Greek mainland to visit the large town Kavala. Apart from the joy of sailing on the Aegean Sea and the sightseeing, I plan to go looking for a decent record shop. On my shopping list is the latest release by one of my favorite Greek singers, the great Haris Alexiou.
