So, who are those fabulous furry freaky flying burrito brothers? - well, when Chris Hillman left The Byrds and joined forces with Gram Parsons, also for a short time a member of those Byrds, a unique band was formed: The Flying Burrito Brothers, the ultimate country-rock band, whose debut album The Gilded Palace Of Sin from 1969 still is a landmark in the music history. Just listen to the opening riffs of Christine´s Tune.

By the way, the first two LPs by FFB are now available on one CD with bonus tracks, and you´ll notice, that one of the songs has inspired the name of my profile: Image Of Me, that´s me for sure.
